Administrative Assistant Position Opening
The Millsboro Fire Company currently has an immediate opening for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring efficient operation of our non-profit organization. This is a part-time position with an average of 20-25 hours per week and allows some flexibility in hours. Applicant should be proficient in accounting practices, to include payroll, the use of QuickBooks and standard MS Office. The Administrative Assistant is also expected to attend and record minutes of various monthly functions, including EMS Board, Board of Directors and company meetings. Must have the ability to interact with County and State agencies, along with accounting and financial institutions in regards to maintaining accounts owned by the fire company. Also must maintain a high level of confidentiality due to nature of financial and personnel information.
