Black ice was covering many Sussex county roads on Friday evening. Members of the Millsboro Fire Company were on scene of a MVA on Hollyville Rd when they were called to a vehicle overturned on Hardscrapple Rd. When arriving on scene, a single vehicle was located in a field over a hundred feet from the main road. Structure Fire

Scottland Rd. S/O Shiloh Church Rd.

On 12/6/08, at aprox. 11 p.m., the Millsboro, Gumboro, and Laurel fire companies were dispatched to a structure fire at the above location. Upon arrival, an abandoned farm house was found to be on fire and had already collapsed. Millsboro and Gumboro crews extinguished the fire while Laurel crews were diverted to another call in their district.
