Millsboro EMS involved in fatal accident - Indian Misson Rd. and Beaver Dam

Millsboro EMS were involved in an early morning fatal accident. Ambulance C-83 with two EMT's and one paramedic were returning from an early morning transport to Beebe hospital when they were struck broadside while at the intersection of Indian Misson and Beaver Dam Rds. The driver of the vehicle which struck them was fatally injured and the EMS crews were transported to Beebe or Flown to Christiana with more serious injuries. Fire Rescue crews from Indian River, Station 80, Mid-Sussex, Sta91 EMS and Lewes Fire Dept. Sta. 82 EMS responded. Sussex County Paramedics, DSP Aviation and Life Net provided ALS support.
