MVA pole hit - 109 East State St.

Saturday morning, the EMS duty crew was alerted when there was a loud noise and shaking of station 83. Investigation in front of the station found a vehicle in the parking lot after hitting a pole, jumping the sidewalk and parking bumpers. With the pole completely severed, the only occupant was removed with wires dangling above. The Millsboro Fire Company volunteers were called to the scene and the driver was transported to Beebe Hospital. The scene was secured by Fire Police and debris was cleared. Delmarva Power responded to replace the pole.
