Arson House Fire - Union St

We were called to a house fire around midnight. The alarm was just a few blocks from the station and we arrived with fire extending from all second story windows. Information from neighbors and a quick search found the house to be unoccupied. Engine 83-4 extended hand lines and mounted an attack using CAFS. Immediately the upstairs was blackened and crews moved in to check for extension and overhaul. The fire was contained to the second floor. Engine crews from Station 73 Dagsboro established water supply at the nearest hydrant and assisted with interior operations. SCEMS and Millsboro EMS set up rehab with Millsboro PD standing by. Rescue 73 was used for refilling SCBA bottles, lighting and equipment. Station 77 Georgetown was moved from cover-up to assist with overhaul. Station 80 Indian River was called to cover Station 83 Millsboro while Station 76 covered Station 73 Dagsboro. The Delaware State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating
