Three Vehicle Accident - Gravel Hill Rd and Mt. Joy Rd

Once again we responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Gravel Hill and Mt. Joy roads. This dangerous intersection has many times been the scene of serious accidents. On this day there was a broadside accident with those vehicles continuing to make contact with a third vehicle waiting to cross Gravel Hill Rd. from the other direction. All occupants were out when C-83 arrived. Engine 83-4 arrived with request from EMT's to assist with patient care. A second transport unit was requested with the primary patient packaged and transported to the hospital. With Traffic Control 83 and additional 83 Fire Police, the scene was worked safely until all equipment was cleared. DSP is investigating.
