Kitchen Fire Church St - 227 W. Church St.

Millsboro was called to a kitchen fire at 227 W Church St. A smoke filled house was found by first arriving apparatus. A Millsboro Firefighter who lives close by had evacuated the handicapped occupant prior to fire and EMS arriving. The unattended cooking fire had been controlled by the occupants. A Positive pressure fan was used by firefighters to clear the smoke from the residence. EMS personnel checked the occupants who refused treatment. The State Fire Marshalls investigated.
