Millsboro Fire Co. Station 83 was alerted to assist Dagsboro Fire Dept. Station 73 on a fast moving brush and woods fire. On a day when high fire risk warnings were posted and 30 to 50 mph winds were blowing quick action and additional personnel were required. Located under a transmission power line along the Dupont Hwy the fire was extending away from the highway and in the woods. Assistance from Frankford Fire Co.Station 76 and Delaware State Forestry were required to contain and extinguish. Covers were handled by Georgetown Station 77, Selbyville Station 88, and Roxana Station 90.
