Multiple vehicle MVA - Governor Stockley & Dupont Hwy

Millsboro Fire and EMS were called to a four vehicle MVA. 83 Command arrived to find one vehicle had overturned, two others had front damage and a forth with minor bumper damage. Medical assistance was being provided by an off duty paramedic and a Georgetown firefighter. Occupants were being assessed by a SCEMS supervisor and traffic was being controlled by Deldot. Assignments were given to arriving Millsboro Fire and EMS and an additional ambulance from Georgetown was requested. DSP Aviation was instructed to land in the southbound lanes south of the scene. Extrication was begun on the overturned vehicle and the occupant was airlifted. Georgetown EMS treated and transported an occupant of the second vehicle and Millsboro EMS the occupant of the third vehicle. The occupants of the fourth vehicle received no treatment with no injuries reported. Clean up was completed by Millsboro firefighters and the scene left to Deldot and DSP for vehicle removals.
