Fatal Vehicle Accident - Gravel Hill Rd

The Millsboro Fire Company was called to a single vehicle accident on Gravel Hill Rd. A Delaware State Fire Marshall arrived reporting a vehicle contacting a utility pole with severe entrapment. EMS personnel and DSP arrived finding the single occupant and driver had been killed in the accident. SCEMS pronounced the driver at the scene and DSP Fatal Investigation Team was called. Gravel Hill Rd was closed by Millsboro Fire Police between Zoar and Springfield Rd. The road remained closed until the investion was completed and the vehicle removed. Deldot was requested to assist Fire Police with the extended operations. Rescue 83 remained on scene with DSP while the remaining Fire and EMS were released.
