Jr. Firefighters Training Night - Station 83

The Jr. Firefighter program continues to be a success. Ranging in ages from 14 to 17 the Jr members learn to become firefighters. Required to maintain good school grades and attendance, they start with station duties. They are then able to participate in house training. At the age of 16 yrs old they are then able to attend the Delaware State Fire School for required Basic Firefighter training. After completing Structure Firefighter training they are able to assist with emergency incidents at the direction of senior fire officers. The experience acquired at this level continues to be an asset to our organization. GOOD WORK GANG!
