Vehicle fire - Indian Mission Rd

Millsboro was called to a vehicle fire on Indian Mission Rd. in the area of the DSWA transfer station. Indian River Fire Police arrived to report a pickup fully involved. 80-34 and Deldot had closed the road prior to our arrival. Engine 83-4 initiated supression with a 1-3/4 CAFS line. Assistance was accepted at the pump panel from 80-34 due to personnel shortages. Engine 83-3 arrived with additional personnel to assist. The fire was brought under control with no injuries. There were issues with magnesium brackets in the vehicle. DSP was requested due to the vehicle being in motion. DEC responded to inspect the pole due to fire damage.
