Fatal Trailer Fire - Handy Rd

Millsboro and Dagsboro Fire Companies were called to a structure fire on Handy Rd. Arriving personnel found a single wide trailer involved with heavy fire in the front half of the structure. Witnesses reported a victim possibility trapped. Engine 73-2 arrived and was assigned to access the rear of the trailer with a rapid interior search. The search of the rear rooms proved negative. Engine 83-4 was assigned to extinguish the bulk of the fire. When the fire was extinguished, a victim was found under the debris. The Delaware State Fire Marshalls Office is investigating.
