Heroic Firefighter of the Year Award - SCVFA October meeting

The Sussex County Fire Chief's handed out their Heroic Firefighters of the Year Award at the October meeting of the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighter's Association, held in Rehoboth Beach on Tuesday, October 26. The 2010 award was given to members of multiple organizations who were involved with the life saving efforts for a Seaford firefighter who suffered cardiac arrest while on stand-by during the July 4th fireworks display in Rehoboth. Receiving the award were members of the Sussex County Paramedics, Rehoboth Beach and Seaford Fire Companies, as well as our own Deputy Chief Matt Warrington, who was on duty with the Delaware State Police on that evening. Congratulations to all recipients of the award for a job well done.
