2012 E-One Ladder 83-7 placed in service - Station 83

Millsboro Fire Company placed a new 2012 E-One Typhoon Extreme Duty HP78 Low Profile Rear Mount Ladder (travel height 11'3")in service. HP78 Ladder features a custom Typhoon Long Cab with 12" split vista roof, severe duty interior, seating for eight firefighters. Powered by a Cummins 450hp engine, Allison EVS 3000 transmission. Drivers side full height /full depth compartments, Officers sidestacker short hosebed with diamond plate hosebed cover. Hale Q-MAX 2000gpm pump with CSFS System 450gal water poly tank, 30 gal foam tank. Harrison 10KW hydraulic generator, Whelen Pioneer Plus LED front, side and aerial lighting, with Whelen LED emergency lighting package. Ladder features include 500lb tip load rating, Pump panel control, creeper control at the tip, short jack system, 2.5" valve at ladder tip, axe and pike pole.
