Training is the backbone of a fire company that benefits everyone: the firefighter, the company officer, the fire company as a whole and the community they serve.  Continuous training allows the firefighter to improve their skills, gain confidence in themselves, encourages growth in their ability and prepares them for the varied sitiations they may face.  And just as important, training fosters teamwork and cooperation, from the most junior member to the senior officer.  Whether it's in the classroom, touring and learning about the facilities in your district, or hands-on in the field scenarios, the overall goal should be to support the services our members provide.
